Edwin Hainley

Edwin W. Hainley, 73, Reinholds, died at home Nov. 26, 2014.

Born in W. Cocalico Twp., a son of the late George E. and Ella B. (Walters) Hainley. His wife, Linda Lou (Redcay) Hainley, died Jan. 6, 2007.

He was a member of Swamp Lutheran Church and active for over 50 years with Reinholds Fire Co.

A 1959 Cocalico Union High School graduate, he was a carpenter with E. F. Martzall, Reinholds, and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and hunting.

Surviving is his fianceé, Patricia A. (Wenrich) Wenzel, Reinholds; daughters, Sue Ellen (Larry) Knauer, Reinholds, and Jacqueline H. (Roy P.) Hackman, Hopeland; grandchildren: Vanessa and Danielle Knauer; and Rochelle, Rachel and Racquel Hackman; step-granddaughters, Amie Shank and Jamie Deamer; great-grandaughter, Raelynn Hendrickson; and 7 step-great-grandchildren.

A brother, George W. Hainley, predeceased him.

Viewings will be Sunday, Nov. 30, 2-5 p.m., and Monday, Dec. 1, 10-11 a.m. from Swamp Lutheran Church, 275 Swamp Church Rd., Reinholds, PA 17569, with the service at 11 a.m. Burial in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds.
