Not sure what to say?

I took classes from Dr. Hall at the Ohio State University about 1970. His hands on work in Alaska greatly enhanced my understanding of the depth of field work and understanding other cultures. He was an engaging instructor and never failed to spark deeper entrust in me and other students. Will never forget him.

Dr. Hall was inspirational to me in 1978 as a college freshman. I didn't know how much at the time. His inspiration was the kind that endures and which you can appreciate so much more as time passes. He was also a very caring teacher. That much I understood at the time. I can still picture him teaching at the front of class. It's a treasured memory for me and I am sure for many of his students.

Nearly 50 years later, Professor Hall remains the finest, most engaging teacher I ever had during my time at Brockport State. Condolences to his family and friends.

I send my heartfelt condolences to Eds family and close friends, along with the hope that your memories of Ed will bring you comfort as you go forward. There is no question but that he was unique in his many talents and touched the lives of many.
Sincerely, Robin Weintraub
