Hey Big Brother...I do not know what lead me here, but I want you to know that I think about you and miss you very much. Not a days go by that you are not on my mind. I wish I can turn back the hands of time to answer that last Skype call. You always kept me up to date with your every step up until the time you made it to Afghanistan. Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Johnson Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. ...

To the family and friends of Gunnery Sgt. Edwin Johnson:
Please accept my remembrance of Edwin on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

As difficult as it is to lay a friend and brother in his final resting place, it was an honor to have been the Marine performing the duties. My heart goes out to Tasha and the kids, and all of Wayne's family and friends. May the Lord's peace be with you, and thank you for allowing me to assist you in your time of need.

Best Regards,
Robert White
Captain, USMC

Love goes out to the family, of a wonderful mentor a great Marine and my best friend... you can't even imagine the feeling of not being able to attend the funeral because I was in training to go to Afghanistan myself... However I carried him with me and he will never be forgotten
