Not sure what to say?

Dad, I wanted you to know that I appreciate the sacrifices you and Mom made to provide me a solid foundation for later use in life. I hope that I will be able to live up to your expectations. I already miss our discussions about politics and history. Rest in peace. I love you. Beauseant - Be Glorious. Ed

Ed,

I know that you know what a great influence you've had on my life. You introduced me to Jim Harmon and Judd Doyle in smoothing the way for me to move from the PD to ATF. Although you were born a couple of years after me, you were always an advisor and sounding board for me. I have a photo of you toasting Mary and me as Best Man at our wedding in 1981. I'll never forget your rendition of "I Am a Little Dutch Boy, Edwin is My Name", while we were touring the alps with our wives...

Dear Dad Kuster, I want you to know how much you are giong to be missed. You made me always feel welcomed in your home and like a 2nd dad to me. I will never forget my wedding day when i got to dance with my dad. You always blessed my forhead and told me God bless you pumpkin and was always gladto stop by and see your smile. I will miss that. You taught me to be strong with Gods help. Glenn was always glad to talk to you to. I know You approved of him. Our heart goes out to the Kuster...

My deepest sympathy for the family of Ed & Marilynn Kuster on their loss.
Ed was the epitome of a Law Enforcement Officer. I had the honor of calling him friend & peer as we served on the SLMPD 1962-1968).

Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, I'll see you again, Ed.
Our loss is Heaven's gain!

I can't say Ed and I seized a lot of guns when we were assigned to a "Gun Squad" with the SLMPD some 35 plus years ago but we had a lot of fun pretending we were the owners of a yacht tied up on the river front. Great guy to work with.
My expression of sympathy to Marilynn and her family.

What a moving tribute to a truely great guy yesterday was!!! So many memories and stories were shared. The camping trips, the poker games, his gentle voice. Ed will never be forgotten.
Our love and support to Lynn and all the family will always be there.

To all the family, my sincere sympathies. I wanted to be there for his final resting, but health prevented my being there.

I remember all the good times(and there were many) and that is how I will remember Ed. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

God be with you all.

There are many different ways to describe Ed, but I think his priorities in life were his family, his religion and law enforcement.

He was very dedicated to the above priorities.

As many of us know, Ed would end his conversations by saying "I love you or we love you".

Ed, as you become one of God's new centurions, as you begin walking a new beat and as it is said old soliders never die, remember this my friend, WE ALL LOVE YOU. God's speed be with you.
