Seems like yesterday I was waving at Ed, as I pulled in across the street as I was going to work at Mel's Diner. Many good memories of waiting on him, him working on my car when needed, and telling him the latest jokes. i can well imagine how missed he is by his family. He was one great guy, and would have made any parents PROUD. How many people can say that now-a-days?

Our hearts break. We loved Eddie so much. Sweet sweet memory when he roared into our place in California a few years ago on his Harley without any warning to me. The rest of my family knew he was coming. I will never forget his precious warm hug.. when he said "hi Cuz". I was so in shock and so very happy. Will miss him dreadfully.

The world lost a good, kind hearted soul with the passing of Ed. Paul and I thoroughly enjoyed the times we spent together whether on the golf course or at the bar. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I worked at Mel's Diner right across the street from Ed's business, and had the absolute pleasure of serving him Many, Many times. Such a nice guy! Great sense of humor, and very generous. Always treating his customers to a meal. Everyone of our staff liked him so much, So surprised and saddened by his passing. Rest in Peace my friend.

Ed was a great help for our daughter and son-in-law Jon at their bar, Duffs Garage. A wonderful fun guy. He will be missed by all of the Duffs gang Tom & Janice Krom
