Mrs. Lazarine,

I am saddened to hear of Ed's death. I only found out today. Ya'll become my cardio grandparents. I will truly miss his visits and his smiles. Please call me with any assistance you may have. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

May it console you
to know others care,
Think of you warmly,
and in every prayer
Ask God to bless you
with courage to bear
the sorrow that now
fills your heart.

Mr. Ed was an icon in our neighbohood always with a wave and a smile - it won't be the same without him on our street. He was truly a gentleman.
