Mal lived the life of a hero, patriot, businessman, world-class mechanic and most importantly a committed family man. His working relationship with his son Ed is a model for all of us to follow. A tribute to both men. He had a firm handshake, looked you straight in the eye when talking to you, was well read, shared his alway interesting opinion, and put it all together with a wonderful sense of humor. Any encounter with him was a learning experience and a joy. We join his family in...

Dear Jeannie - Sorry I cannot be there at this time. I can't believe your father was 102! I still remember when he came and pulled out the car I had backed into a snowdrift after a basketball game at CHS. He is with Josie now. Thoughts and prayers for you and your brother.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Malikowski family. Ed was not only a gentleman but was also my teacher while I was doing the Auto Body trade at CCHS. I was on a work co-op and would go to work with him. Everything had to be perfect or do it over was his motto.Ed was a great man. Prior to joining the police dept. i worked for a few body shops and dealerships but none compared to having worked with this man who was well respected in the Chicopee community. Rest In Peace Ed
