Not sure what to say?

Bonnie I am so sorry to hear about Ed. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Peaceful journeys Mr. Merkel.

Enjoy the Sunset as you head West, Ed. We will miss you but know you are in a good place.

Billy Barnstormer

Bonnie: I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Ed in the early 70's when the Merkel Mark II was first being flown. He was a real gentleman and tremendous aviation supporter.

Bonnie, what treasure you found in your life with Ed. All the stories over the years we read about in your Christmas correspondence confirm that. Take good care of yourself.
Love, Judith & Eric

Besides being a wonderful human being, I never met anyone who knew as much about designing, building and flying airplanes as Ed. I could sit cross legged at his feet and learn. Fly West with fair winds, old friend.

I knew Ed as Major Merkel when he worked with us cadets at Wichita West Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. He was a great mentor and role model. Undoubtedly will be missed by many. My condolences to all who loved him.

God bless and Blue skies, Major Merkel.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Bonnie:

We are very sorry for your loss. We all lost a very good friend.
