Edwin Robert "Bob" Newman

Bob was my piano student at the Omaha Conservatory of Music for over five years...When he came to our first lesson at the age of 89, he was ready to pick up the piano where he left off as a child! He had a wonderful sense of humor, passion for music (performing at each adult recital) and he will be very missed by his community at the Conservatory. Rest in peace Bob, and thank you for blessing me with your presence and music!

Bob was a classmate of mine in the same section at Creighton. I had great admiration for his decision to go to law school as a second career at 20+ years older than the rest of the class. He exemplified the kind of drive not found in most people. A toast to a life well-lived. RIP Bob.

Met Bob while in law school and crossed paths later on in our careers. He was genuine and a class act all the way. Rest in peace.
