Edwin Quigley

I´m so sad to learn of Eddys death. He was a friend to me when no one else would answer my calls. While I was in prison he wrote letters and offered emotional support at every turn. I´d like to honor him on some way. Please direct me to the best option.

I'm gutted! I've tried to reach Ed a few times in the last couple of months to meet up in Tacoma for a meal at Vuelve A La Vida after one of my VA appts but with no luck! Now I know why! Ed, my friend and running mate of 60 years I will miss you more than words can say. Rest easy my friend!!

There are no words for the sadness I feel. I´ve known Ed for 50 years. While we didn´t live close for many of the last 20 years we still spoke a few times a year. How do you say good bye to someone who has always been there. He will truly missed. It´s all so surreal. See you on the flip side Ed Give all the pups and cats big fat hugs! I know they are so happy to see you!

At our reunion in 2012 I was walking between the tables during our Friday night get-together and over all the noise I hear "Mac" - "Mac". It was Ed. We talked for a long time about all the things we´d been doing since High School. I occasionally think about that conversation. Ed showed he could be very complex and very carefree all at the same time. Not the high school kid I remembered, but full of emotion and enjoyable to talk to. I´ll miss him... a lot.

I have such great memories of working with Ed at Ted Brown´s. What a lovely man he was. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
