EDWIN "Bud" RICHARDS

I drove past the Richards house the other day and saw the for sale sign, unaware of Bud's passing. My mother, Irene Lesniak, was lifelong friends with Betty (and with Bud, after their marriage), through their parents my grandparents were Anna and Charlie Rorak). My mother passed recently and I have been going through old (mid-1920's) family photos, seeing several of Charlie and Anna with Betty's parents. Mr. Richards was just a genuinely nice person. Mr. Richards always took the time to find out what was going on in our lives, because he was genuinely interested and he really cared. How refreshing to talk with someone who truly wanted to know about you as a person...not just to make idle conversation. Mr. Richards was a good man - he raised a good family - he will be missed.

To those who loved and remember Bud Richards, may you support and care for one another in this difficult time. And may you experience the peace that God gives, which "excels all thought" (Philippians 4:6,7).

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish his memories forever. He was a great uncle who supported my family in difficult times. Rejoice! He has been reunited with aunt Betty and is cheering us on from heaven to lives of love & good deeds.

Bud was a good friend and neighbor for the past 10 years. I always enjoyed stopping over to see him and Omar and Bud was so easy to talk to and share a laugh with. He will truly be missed.
