Not sure what to say?

Ed and Doris have come to mind many times for me since I first met them years ago at a barn-related event. Fascinating, engaging, well-informed... warm, inviting, caring.... all words I can use to describe the two of them. I was saddened when Doris died and spoke with Ed one time after that. He missed her very much. He had always spoken of her with such love and with pride of being able to still drive tractor in his mid-90s and continue farming. I wanted to get in touch with him again...

Nancy and all the Roth family, please accept my condolences on the loss of your Dad, grandpa, and uncle. I never met him but feel I know him after reading your beautiful tribute to his long, full life. May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you at this time.

Sorry for your lost. I didn't find out about Ed until 10pm or I would have been to the funeral home. I have a lot of good memories of Ed and your family. My prayers are with you.

My condolences to all the family. Ed was a great loss to this life. I met him 10 years ago and fell in love with his kindness. He lived a long life and will be missed.

Mr. Edwin Roth will remain as an inspiration for the members of the Fallasburg Historical Society FHS) and countless others.
He never missed an FHS event.
It's the least I can do, he said.
His passion for history will always live in our hearts.
Emma Palova, FHS

What a wonderful Life Legacy story! Some of my favorite childhood memories are my summer visits to the Roth farm with my Aunt Doris, Uncle Ed, and cousins Steve, Jeanne and Nancy! We had so much fun and I learned so much...and even helped with the chores! also our Holiday family get-togethers with both Grandma Edmonds and Grandma Roth there! All are/will be greatly missed.

He will always be remembered...great man, will miss him at the Expo, Summer Concerts and the many of events he attended..he was my biggest and steadfast cheerleader

What a great man. I dearly loved Ed. This obit is a splendid tribute to his and all that he did in his long and wonderful life. Sad that I'll be out of stat during his funeral gathering. RIP, Ed, and may those surviving you carry on your curious and interested flame for living well.

Jeanne and family: Your father was an icon in this community who will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to meet him. Our thoughts are with you as you process the loss and celebrate his life and all those he touched.
