Mr Ruck is more than just a great scientist and teacher , he is my best friend in Hinsdale Central. He is always kind ,cheerful and caring.I will always remember what he teach me , not only the stuffs on text book ,but the way to live our life with appriciation and forgiveness.
May you rest peacefully with the father in heaven . And you will always be in my mind.
Maybe someone will replace your position at TPI , but for us,your students ,no one can ever replace you in our heart.

Ed was a wonderful colleague who had a positive impact on the many students he mentored at Hinsdale Central. He will be remembered as a thoughtful, caring, courageous role model and good friend.

My sincerest sympathies to Ed's family. Ed was one of the kindest, most dedicated members of the staff at Hinsdale Central HS. I will miss him greatly, but more important, the kids he worked with in TPI have suffered an immeasurable loss. They may replace the position, but NO ONE will ever replace Ed. He was a class act.
