Dear Schulte Family,
I want to convey my sympathy to you all on the death of my uncle, Edwin Schulte. I have many fond memories of my uncle at the family get-togethers that were so much more common fifty years ago. He was always someone to look up to and I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

Two years ago I have been contacted by Eileen Schulte, searching for relatives here in Germany. So this was the first time I got in touch with the Schulte Family in the US. Unfortunately I had no opportunity to meet Edwin Schulte. Sometimes it is too late in life. Rest in peace.

Mr. Schulte was a great neighbor and a good friend to my dad for many years. His deep love for God and family remain an example to so many who knew him. I hope the pleasant memories of him bring smiles to you in this time of sorrow.

Mr. Schulte was a great neighbor. I grew up next door to the Schulte family and remember him as a warm, heartfelt man with a sincere and friendly smile. His love for his family, deep faith in God, and giving spirit to help those in need, made him a great role model to me. Even though Mr. Schulte worked hard, he always made time to play with his children. You could always find them kicking the soccer ball around in the back yard. I will always remember him. May God comfort you in this...

I remember Mr. Schulte as a quiet spoken man with a big smile who whistled his kids home at dusk on summer evenings.
One of my favorite childhood memories of him is when he was sitting on his front porch late one Saturday afternoon, patiently explaining the pop fly rules of baseball to his two daughters, the Stopplemann girls and me.
My other favorite memory is the day, more than 10 years later, when we both arrived home from work at the same time. We parked in front of...

Uncle Ed was a strong man. He was hard working and loving to everyone who touched his life. We'll miss him in our lives but he'll always be in our hearts and fondest memories. God bless this family in our time of loss. Love Joanie
