Not sure what to say?

Ed was a caring, dear neighbor whose ready smile will be missed. He was a good friend to my father, neighbor Richard Hickman; Dad spoke often of their afternoon conversations in Ed's backyard, drinking Dr Pepper. Lovely memories. He was one of the people who walk into our lives and make a difference for having been there. Our prayers and thoughts are with Rita and the entire family in this time.

Mr Ed was such a sweet and kind neighbor. It was always a pleasure to visit with him. He will be missed by our neighborhood. Our condolences and prayers for Mrs Rita and the family.

Thank you for your military service

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ed for numerous years and it was a pleasure to call him my friend.
Ed was a good man and had nothing but kind words for all that knew him.
He will be missed.
May God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Salt of the Earth people Bobby and Ed were like my second family growing up in Tyler. I’ll see you in heaven Ed and Bobby. Love you both.

Brother was a good man, son, brother, husband, and father. He was kind and generous to all that knew him. I will never forget the Sundays where the Smith family gathered together for dinner at the farm. I never knew a more joyous occasion and I will never forget the wonderful food and conversation. Lord, please take Ed in your arms and show him the light. I know that heaven is a better place and he is in no pain. I know he will be met by Frances, Richard and Bobbie Jean. I wish I could be...
