Thanks to Dr. Smith and the gift God gave him, my daughter turned 29 on July 26th. She was born with gastroskesis (sp?) and he operated on her when she was only hours old. I thank God for Dr. Smith. He will always have a special place in our hearts. He was not only a gifted man but a man with a large heart. My daughter and I visited him a few years ago in Dallas and he was exactly as I remembered him. I look forward to meeting him again in heaven. Thank you and God Bless you, Nancy Tibbits...

As a former nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Oklahoma Children's Hospital, I have fond memories of Dr. Smith. He was always a gentlemen to the people who worked around him.
