Edwin Edward Smith

We met dear sweet Ed(the Godfather of Avante) when my father-in-law Lew, was his roommate at Avante and there couldn't have been a better match of a roommate for Lew or us. Ed watched over him and helped us stay informed of Lew's situation when we could not be there. Ed was there for Lew and held his hand while he was dying until we could get there and we will be forever grateful to Ed for that. Ed is now an angel flying untethered in heaven. God bless you dear friend for all you gave to us...

You had a very special man in your life that so many people Loved and that he Loved.
I will never forget the outing with him when we took him he see the Silent Marine Corp Grill Team. The tears in his eyes was worth amillion words. His favorit saying to me was "ONCE A MARINE ALWAYS A MARINE".
He will be miss by alot of people that he touched daily.
