Not sure what to say?

Pam, Jack, Brian, and Valerie, our entire family was so very saddened to hear of Jack's passing. We did not find out until Saturday night, well after the funeral. Jack was a wonderful man, and will remembered by the entire Long family for his kindness to all of us, and his vast generosity to the baseball team that Ed coached , including taking the entire team to Tiger Stadium - something the boys will always remember. Ed, Ryan, Eric, and I all send our most sincere condolences to your...

All of you.....He was a wonderful source of love, gentleness and kindness and will continue to be with you each and every day. I can see his smile right now as I think of the first day I met him when Val was pregnant with baby Jackie. His love will continue to shine upon all of you and comfort you. Hugs and love to you all....

My company was located just around the corner from Jack's back in the 1980's. Whenever I came in we always had a good discussion about some new technology or trading technique he was trying out. Good memories. Good man. My sincere condolences to his family.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. Now is the time to be with your family more than ever and share your memories and love for your dad.

To Pam. I was sorry to hear about Jack. If his family is an indication of the type of man he was he was a really great guy.

Jack was the closet to being my brother in High School. Many laughs running back and forth to our homes when we were in training. He loved to blindside me knocking me head over heels into one of the sand traps on the Flint Country Club. Lifting weights listening to Del Shannon. Playing football on the Stead's front lawn with all three Stead boys. We used Bobby as our football, I can still hear that 5 years laughing. Mrs. Steady cookies, Mr. Stead keeping us in line. Didn't want to cros...
