Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mr. Stowell’s passing and I did not want to miss the opportunity to honor this great man! Mr. Stowell was my physics teacher at Christiana High School, in 1983-84, and was the best teacher of any subject that I ever had! I ran with a small crew, and Mr. Stowell’s gruff demeanor had a pretty nervous when the academic year started but, we figured him outlol He didn’t want us to believe that he was a nice guy but, we learned that he liked us and that he cared. I told Mr....

I would like to say a grateful "Thank you" to all of you for sharing your memories & for your Condolences, on Dad's passing. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Deborah L. Stowell

Ed Stowell was one of the most unique and interesting people on the planet. He seemed so involved in the mechanics and meaning of life and one's surroundings that it was contagious. What a gift to have him as a teacher. You couldn't help but learn from him as he took an immense interest in everything you were doing in a subliminal attempt to push you to better and bigger things. I was so sorry to have lost contact with him as he journeyed off to Dar Es Salaam but was so proud of the work he...

Sending sincere condolences to you, Deborah, and to all in your family. Prayers for peace and comfort for all of you during this time from my husband, Morris and I.

Mr. Stowell was my physics teacher when I was a senior at Christiana High School (class of 1980). My father, who went to be with the Lord 4 1/2 years ago taught chemistry there. It's sad to see the generation of teachers who gave me my education passing from this life. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to the Stowell family.

He was high among my favorite and best teachers at Christiana High School (class of 1965), and a really good man. My sincerest condolences to his family.
