Not sure what to say?

Gene, as your classmate it was great to reconnect when you came to the VA. You were a great coworker and were greatly loved and appreciated. You worked for one of your former students, my wife, and I was proud to remind everyone that you were a Baylor Med grad. RIP, Gene!!

I will always hold you in my mind and heart for giving me so many lessons and joys, rest in peace.

Bless you uncle Gene, you were so admirable and will miss you dearly.

Praying for comfort and peace for Susan and the whole family.

Dr Terry was a great mentor. He taught me not only the science of cardiology but more importantly the compassion. He was a gentle giant who cared deeply for the patients and the staff and had a deep underlying faith. Dr Terry I will pray for you and your family. Thank you for having such a beautiful influence on me and my practice of cardiology.

Susan, our hearts are saddened about the loss of Gene. You and your family are continually in our thoughts and prayers. What wonderful Bluff Circle neighbors you and Gene were for so many years! Love and condolences, Jim and Sherry

Definitely an amazing man! We were all honored to have the privilege of knowing him. Never forget Susan that my legs are longer than yours per Gene!!! Sending my love.

THE CLASS OF 1962 WAS VERY DEVERSED AND THAT MADE US AWSOME. WE CAME FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE TRACKS BUT WHO COULD EVER TELL, EVERY MEMBER WAS ALWAYS A CARING CLASSMATE. GENE NEVER PASSED YOU IN THE HALL WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING YOU WITH A FRIENDLY SMILE OR HELLO. ONE OF OUR SHINING STARS. GENE YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY AND NEVER FORGOTTEN. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY. FRED AND JOANN HOSKINS

Gene and Susan were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved in next door in Salado. They were lovely neighbors and took us under their wing. They had the prettiest yard on the block! We really missed them when they moved to Georgetown. God speed Gene and Susan, may your faith, family and friends comfort you.
