Not sure what to say?

Dear Emily:
What a loving and helpful partner you were for Ned!! I knew you before Ned ever entered our lives as you began your career at Moravian College and you were willing to engage me, an ICE HOCKEY player from Canada in field hockey about which I knew nothing and performed disastrously.

My life in Mission Service in Nicaragua was brief and preceded yours. But it prepared me for my eventual interaction with Ned (and you) through my years of serving on the Board of...

Dear Emily:
My thoughts and my prayers have been with you in recent months as you and your family and the varied communities of which you and Ned were a part gave thanks for his life and witness to our Lord Jesus. My memory of you began when you coached hockey and you were courageous enough to allow a Canadian Ice Hockey ruffian on the field.

My days in Nicaragua preceded yours, but I could place your life and important service for the Moravian Church in Puerto Cabezas well. ...

Ned was my supervisor and friend while I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Partners office in Puerto Cabezas. I'm so glad to read of his continuous good work after Nicaragua and deeply saddened by his passing. He was a dear & good person who made a real difference. Thank you Ned.

I met Dr. Wallace once - according to my mother, Dr. Wallace delivered me in Puerta Cabezas / Bilwi, Nicaragua in June 1961. Thank you, Dr. Wallace! Best to your family at this difficult time.

I remember Ned well. I worked with Ned in the Wisconsin Partners of the Americas program in Nicaragua. I was an electrical engineer helping with establishing medical communications in the Porto Cabezas region. Ned was a pleasure to work with on my several trips there. He was a real humanitarian.

Love and blessings to you, dear Emily and family, for carrying on Ned's legacy of service and exploration in our world. Know that you are held in prayer and peace.

Clan Wallace, I send you all my love from Madison. What great memories of ALL of you, including Dr. W - goodness, we loved going to your house! Susan, I remember one time you couldn't go out with us on a Saturday night -
freshman year of high school, maybe - because your dad had mail ordered a car engine and you weren't finished putting it together! Emily, I still think of you almost every Saturday night because you introduced me to A Prairie Home Companion - and I can still see you...

Christina and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. From all I've read, your father has lived such a beautiful life and has given so much to this world. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know you have an amazing angel looking down upon you all with the utmost pride. Lots of love, Dawn, Justin and Mason
