Not sure what to say?

Reverend Walthall performed my pre-marital counseling and marriage ceremony at Wynnewood Presbyterian Church after the new pastor at my home church refused to do so because my attendance had been so poor because I had been away at college. Ed Walthall exemplified Christian love and played a major role in bringing me back to the church. I have thought about him many times over the years. May God bless his family and loved ones at this sad time; please accept my sincere condolences.

God bless all ya'll. What an example Uncle Ed left for us. Uncle Ed was amazing, smart, creative and always made you feel better about it. What an honor to have such an Uncle. God truly blessed us through Uncle Ed.

I had the privilege of growing up in Wynnewood Presbyterian Church in Dallas with Rev. Walthall as our pastor. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Ed was so special to us all. I was blessed to have had the the opportunity to know him. Love,

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Walthall Family. I had the pleasure of meeting and assisting Mr. and Mrs. Walthall in their home. May the Lord give you comfort in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs Margaret Walthall and family. I had the honor of being one of Mr.and Mrs. Walthalls healthcare providers and they were the nieces clients I had the pleasure in careing for and he will be surely missed. May God Bless you and your family.

Margaret,It was such a blessing to have Ed as our pastor at Covenant. You were also a lovely gift to us. If Webster had known you two, he would probably have put your pictures to define love.

From 1996 when Ed's brother, Tom was still with us.

May the Lord continue to bless the Walthall family as the last of the five brothers joins the heavenly host in Heaven with Jesus. I am proud of all Ed has done and stood for over the years, and thankful to God for including me with his family.

I was given a book of Ed's prayers by a member of 1st Presbyterian Church several years ago. His thoughtful words have ministered to the residents of Morningside Ministries. You have blessed many, dear brother. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
