Edwin Walter Word Jr., 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Northwood Church. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home....
Read MoreYes , I am trying to contact a relative of Walter Jr Or Sr Word to inform them that I have saddle that was used by Walter Sr on The Chisoalm Trail in the late 1800s driving cattle , Walter Jr was one of my Uncle Tom´s WW 2 pilot buddies and he gave the saddle to me and I would like to return it to a Word family member .

My condolences to the family of Walter Word. He was a wonderful man. My Dad and I visited with him over the years when he would come out the Moncrief's Ranch and camp and fish. Our heart goes out to the family
