Not sure what to say?

Ed was my sailing captain on many voyages around the world. I was his navigator. We had adventures that changed my life He was very religious, a devout proud Jew and a strong supporter of Isreal. An unforgettable man, stout of heart and a brilliant mind.

I don´t remember you really just very slightly. I am your niece Cindy Chucks daughter and with all our family drama I never really got to meet any of your family . So sorry for that. I have heard a lot about all of you and so sorry for your loss truly. Mine as well since he was my family too. I offer my comfort and prayers to all of you. Cindy Garcia

I send my condolence and may his memory continue to be a blessing. My dad, Jerry Toles, was a long time patient Of his who, because he did everything he was told, never needed a second triple bypass again. He received his in 1973 at St Joe's. He continued As a square dancer Into his early 90s. I remember dad said that Dr. Zalis wanted to take a picture of a crease in his earlobe, which I believe went into a textbook. God blesses us, every one, by having peopke like your father in our...

I miss Ed so much, I think about him all the time. He showed and to me to places in the world and adventures that I will never forget. Madagascar, Tonga, New Zealand etc,,sailing trips, He was the complete Renaissance man, his knowledge of history, astronomy, history and so much more. We warched Mercury transverse the Sun, a once in a lifetime expo. I miss him, he was unique, a god fearing religious man.

Dr.Ed Zalis, my captain on great sailing adventures, I had the pleasure of being his navigator and his friend, I treasure the life experience gifts he gave to me and I will always remember him as a great man and mentor

It is my pleasure to say that Dr. Zalis was the finest cardiologist I've ever known. I once did his medical transcription at Granada Hills Community Hospital in Granada Hills. He will always be remembered as an astute and most highly esteemed physician. I will ALWAYS remember those wonderful times of doing his dictation. His dictation would literally flow from his mouth right onto the paper I was transcribing onto. May he enjoy his just and merciful reward in Heaven. God, please...

You may recall Uncle Eddie help consult when my dad had heart issues on Miami Beach. Then his brother Stanley passed it was not an easy time. All the brothers are gone. My deepest condolences to friends and family of Dr. Zalis. My mom, Mrs. Marderian passed just three months before him. As a brilliant physician, he lifted and challenged us to a higher level of work, as he would dictate with care and excellence, and we transcribed his reports. God bless his soul. He leaves a legacy of patients whose lives were made better by him. Finally, sir, you can rest.

My condolences to the family from a Classmate at Maryland School of Medicine.
