Not sure what to say?

Dear Darryl--

Likely you don't remember me, as I am a few years older, but we used to play together as young children. Your father and mine were both stationed in Great Falls, flying B-24s out of the Aleutians. Edie, my mother (Leonora) and my Aunt Jane made a legendary cross-country road trip from New York to Montana in '43 or '44. My aunt died this week--on her 94th birthday--and in searching for the road trip pictures, which looms large in my cousin's family lore, discovered...

Darryl,
I am only now hearing of your mom's passing.I met your mom and Bill once when they came out to California after my birth father passed away to help you move back home. Your mom was one of the kindest, most gracious, generous women I have had the pleasure to meet. I am so saddened to hear she has passed. I wish I could have known her (and you) better. You are both part of my soul family. So much love to you.

Jennifer

Edie will be truly missed. The world has lost a beautiful soul. She was such a wonderful person that I can only describe as pure sunshine. At a family gathering a few years ago, I spent most of the day looking at her incredible artwork and lost in her journals from her travels with Pop. Condolences to her family and friends. I hope she and Pop are together again, traveling all over the unknown.

May Ms. Edie's family and friends find comfort in good memories. I truly will miss our chats and her lovely smile. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to provide her with care. She definitely was at peace as I stood by her side.

I will miss Edie, her bight smile, her joy in making art, and her zest for life. I like many am lucky to have known her. Much love and sympathy to her family and dear friends who will miss her fresh enthusiasm.

Dear Darryl
I am sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was a fantastic lady. May she rest in peace. Your Dad Pete and my Dad worked together at the Transit Company.
