Dear Alfred, René and John, Ida was such a warm, kind and inclusive friend to my mother and to our family. They were close for more than 90 years, and that bond meant so much. Ida and Alfred were a wonderful couple, and I treasure the time I was invited to stay with them at Sage Hill all those years ago. I have so many cherished memories from summers in Ula in Norway.
