I am a better person for having had the good fortune of being part of his life. I remember spending many a day at the Floor house listening to Mr. Floor play the piano and all the fun stories he always had to share. One couldn't help but smile when he was around. You will be missed dear friend. Love to all of you.

The Floors were our neighbors in Ferndale Avenue in Renton until we moved in 1973. Elco's house and garden put ours to shame. He is the only person I ever met who painted his driveway! He was always kind and helpful, especially to children. Although we've not seen much of him these past 38 years, we remember him playing the piano at our home a few times. How versatile he was on the instrument. Our condolences to Willy and their children and their families. Chris and Joan Starling

I worked along side Elco (he said he Americanized his name, by taking out an e) for years, both at Boeing Auburn and Boeing Seattle in NC Programming. He was a great guy. Loved all his stories. He talked about his family all the time (very nicely). I know he liked to travel. He was a good piano player and it was fun to be around him. I really enjoyed working with Elco and knowing him for so many years. My best to his Family. He'll be missed.

I too worked with Eelco at Boeing. He was a person you were always glad to see, always had a cheerful word for you. I think he may have danced a jig at his retirement party!
Always enjoyed his stories and especially hearing about his family - he was genuinely proud of all of them. We had good times with Eelco and may his family find peace in their happy memories.

I worked with the NC Programming group with Eelco. He was my favorite programmer. I loved to hear stories about Holland, about his wife and kids. I remember Yolanda going into the Peace Corps and Eelco and Willy visiting her there. My husband, Mike Sawyer and I did some night time skiing at Snoqualmie with Eelco. It was fun talking and laughing on the trip up and back. I heard Eelco play the piano once and was truly amazed. He was a true gentleman.
