Effie H. Washington Effie Washington, 101, departed this life on Sept. 2, 2018. Viewing will be held Monday, Sept. 10, at 9 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 539 Trinity Pl., located in Westfield, N.J., followed by an 11 a.m. homegoing celebration.
