Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort sustain the family during this most difficult time.

I did not sign my entry
It is the one that said he was my very best teacher at BHS
Dr. Jane Longo Hanscom

Absolutely the very best teacher I had in high school. I remember being anxious when I found out he was my French teacher but he really taught me to love French .......and to this day I can still speak a few words with a "good" accent . He was my teacher from 1960-1963 at BHS.
So sorry to her of his passing .
THANKYOU Mr. Economu

I'm so sorry to learn of Mr. Economu's passing. He was an inspiration for students--a gifted French teacher. The last time I saw him was almost 4 years ago when he came with friends to visit my mom at assisted living in Bangor. She had turned 100--and reconnecting with him was such a gift. Brought back wonderful memories of French Club at BHS, he and Mmle. Beaupre and
"La Marseillaise". He was a treat.

Mr. Economu was probably the best teacher I ever had. His classes were not for the timid. He made us laugh and he made us study. I loved reading Le Petit Prince in French. He had a knack for getting the learning across while making it so enjoyable. Thank you Mr. Economu for sharing your great gift. May your life be for a blessing. My condolences to the family.

May God's loving kindness and comfort help you and your family through this very sad time Palms 29:11

A tough but fun teacher with a twinkle in his eyes. He taught, we learned. I appreciated you Monsieu

He was my muse. Sitting in his classes was so much more than learning French - it was as if we were sitting in Paris overlooking the Seine while sitting in a cafe. I modeled teaching my French classes after his and was always hoping that I could do for my students what he did for me. After reading about his background, there was no way I could come close to giving my students what he gave me.

Uncle Thimi was one of a kind and appreciated by many. I wish to extend my condolences to all relatives and friends for your loss. Unfortunately I will not be attending his service but will be thinking of all of you at this time.

Love and prayers
