I was saddened to learn of the death of Senator Groen whom I admired greatly. Years ago I represented both the Illinois State Medical Society and Hospital Association and "Eby" always was viewed as one of the true intellects in the legislature. I mean that in a good way. We even agreed most of the time! He was a treasure. He represented his constituents well. My deepest sympathy!
