Not sure what to say?

Eiko, You are such a dear friend to my whole family. Carol, David, Mom and Dad have joined you in the Spirit world. I miss your smile, warmth and wisdom -- thank you for sharing. Love, Milt

I loved all she was. We shared many plays & good times. She was a gift to the Huycke family.

Lovely lady. A gift to the family

Eiko was my mother's first boss! In the early 1960s I think. The two of them stayed in touch, went on several overseas trips and enjoyed many adventures and late night conversations. Eiko was like a second mother to me and my sisters in many ways after our mother passed in 2017. We would visit her in Portland whenever we were in town. I'm so sorry she is gone. Eiko and I had so many fun conversations about literature and art and I loved how she would hold my hand whenever we were out walking...

Eiko was one of the most wonderful people I ever met. Her enthusiasm for life, amazing taste in all things, and gift for friendship will be a model to me forever. I loved her and miss her. I just unpacked a box of books and one was carefully wrapped with a note, "From Eiko." The title? "Modern Women." She was always in the future, so forward-thinking.

To the family and friends of Eiko, My condolences to all of you. Eiko was upbeat and fun to talk to. I enjoyed listening to her talk about her working days and taking short walks with her around her place of residence. You are missed Eiko! Tamra

I have so many wonderful memories growing up with Eiko. She was so funny. I didn´t know how to get in touch with her in my adulthood, but I thought of her often. Love to the family, Juliana Kelly (formerly Grand)

Eiko was my neighbor when I first moved to Portland. She and Chuck were very welcoming and wonderful to me, my husband and baby girl. I remember Eiko and her charming personality... I can still see her smile in my mind´s eye. She left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.... heaven awaits another angel!!

I think of Eiko as being a perfect person. She had incredible intelligence, humor, kindness, wisdom, curiosity, honesty, generosity, creativity........ And she was so darn humble & cute!! We all loved and appreciated her so much!! This world won´t be the same without her.
