Eileen Pipkin Collins

Mrs. Eileen Pipkin Collins, 74, of Bonifay, Fla., passed from this life Friday, Sept. 23, 2010, at her home in Bonifay. Mrs. Collins was born Sept. 29, 1934, in Bonifay to Homer Brown and Lillian (Pate) Pipkin.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Joe Earl Collins of Bonifay; son, Joe Earl Collins II and wife, Lisa of Sebring, Fla.; daughters, Debbie Rieck and husband, Vince of Matthews, N.C., and Jo Ann Everett and husband, Dennis of Marianna, Fla.; sister, Waldeen Woodell of Tallahassee, Fla.; and grandchildren, Mitchell and Shelby Rieck, Katie Everett, Ben, Eli and Pate Collins.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, southwest of Bonifay, with the Rev. Ike Steverson officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home of Chipley, Fla., directing. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. today, Sept. 25, 2010, at Brown Funeral Home in Main Street Chapel in Chipley, Fla. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Covenant Hospice.
