Lee was very much a part of our lives when we lived in Willow Oaks, played bridge together and had nice conversations about our grandchildren. At that time it was Claire, and she did love her so! And always shared the photos she received. Lee was very generous and whenever anyone did a favor for her she was quick to repay the kindness with a treat, like the famous 'cheese straws' which were a favorite of hers as well. Lee was a special friend and neighbor during her last years in Hampton. Loved playing bridge with her and enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor. She was a dear lady and I miss her presence among us. I have savored some fun, happy remembrances since I learned of her passing--one of which she used to say "I am so old I don't even buy green bananas anymore"--when we were talking about the downside of aging. She was full of WIT and FUN. May God bless her soul.
