Eileen C. Anderson departed this life on August 23, 2011. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment will be private. Eileen was born in Washington, D. C. on December 31, 1954. She worked for many years for the C & P Telephone Company. Eileen loved helping others. . She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Anderson and Anna Southerland Anderson. She leaves to cherish her loving memories-her son, Michael Millar, four sisters, Dana White (Leon) and their children Cassandra, Michele and Leon; Helen Monaco (Tony) and their children Marcus, Jessica, Kyle and Cody; Judy Anderson and her children Samantha, Joel, Janay and Destiny and Anna Heller (Billy) and their children Heidi, Megan, Cary and Breanna. and two brothers, Arthur Anderson (Martha) and their children Eric, Shawn, Matthew and Andy and Vernon Anderson and his children Robert, Brian and Sherry.

I worked with, laughed with, and called Eileen my friend. Unfortunately as we continue in life we loose touch with many and Eileen and I lost touch. I received word that she wanted me to call her a few years back but again we both were in transition relocating and a missed opportunity can never be regained. I love you Eileen and pray that we see each other again on the other side.

The lord needed another angel and called you home you were an awesome person and I am proud to have called you a friend keep a watch over us and protect us from evil

Eileen called me her sister, maybe because we shared many of the same feelings of love for our Heavenly Father, and all living things. We're both night owl's and were delighted to find and save a big praying mantis, a bat and a huge slow beetle, near our car in parking lots after evenings of shopping together. Eileen often invited me over after work, insisted on feeding me any number of delicious treats from her kitchen or Trader Joe' s (thus I became hooked on that store and we'd go...
