Eileen Elizabeth Anewalt

Eileen Elizabeth Anewalt, age 65, of Blueridge Street in North Port, Florida, passed away over the veil to her Savior's Home on Monday, July 23, 2012. She succumbed to pneumonia and blood cell decline. She was the elder daughter of Charles Franklin Anewalt and Florence Irene (Marsh) Anewalt of Palmerton, PA. Her hometown schools led her to become a musician and serious clarinet player. Her college work and degree at Mansfield State College in northern PA gave her both teaching skills and an active music career; which she used as a music engraver for classical scores for several university publishers. Eileen continued her teaching career by completing her Masters Degree in Montessori teaching for early childhood, and enjoyed this career for a decade in Ithaca, New York. The latter half of her life Eileen spent in the commercial world of retail merchants; she built her small business for specialty ladies' clothing for 28 years under her banner called DIVA Clothier-first in New England and finally in Venice, Fla close to her home in North Port since 2005. Eileen shared an active life with her husband and life partner of 32 years, Charles Boynton Viall of North Port and of both Winchester and Colebrook, Conn. Eileen and Charles enjoyed one month (in June) every year since 2005 in traveling to Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Besides her loving husband and life-partner, she is survived by one brother, Dennis (Donna) Anewalt of Lehighton, PA and a sister, Kathy A. (Bryce) Hunsicker of Catasauqua, PA. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 5055 Sumter Blvd. in North Port. Interment will be held later at Forest View Cemetery in Winsted, Connecticut. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
