Not sure what to say?

Ms Evans was Eileen's name the year she taught me in 4th grade. She was my favorite teacher. She was enthusiastic, creative, and gained the respect of her students. I will never forget how she decorated the room for Halloween , it was really done up and I was actually a little scared since I came from a Catholic school and not used to decorated rooms! I loved my teacher and was concerned to not disappoint her; which encouraged me work harder. She remembered me and I actually babysat her...

Eileen was my colleague and friend. We both worked in our classrooms at the end if the school day and had many heart to heart chats. She loved her family and her students. She worked tirelessly to teach them and to guide them in extracurricular activities. The play was her favorite. She will always be in my heart. My husband and I remember her fondly and keep her and her family. In our prayers.

I love you. You were like a sister to me. Maureen

Miss. Evans/Mrs. Barnes was a feared then loved teacher to many of us in her 4th grade class. I'd give anything to go back in time and be the student she knew I could be for her. I hear her voice, feel that big bear hug. Damn I was blessed to have her as one of my most influential teachers of my life. God Bless your Family and one day I'll see you again and this time I owe you a bear hug and 50 sets of times tables! I love you !

I think she may have been a bit of a softy at heart which was shown when she brought her litter of white German Shepherd puppies to see us one day or how she'd let a few of us in the movie theatre she worked at on weekends without paying. I think we all left her class more...
