Obituary

Beaulieu, Eileen L. (Eggenberger) age 81. Our beautiful mother started her new journey on February 4, 2006. She went peacefully, at home, surrounded by loved ones. We will miss her generous spirit. She is survived by sons, Rick (Deborah), Allen; daughter, Sherri (Gene); grandson, Alec; granddaughter, Shaina; niece, Marsha (Jim) Arr. She was born in Madison, WI and had many interests such as dance and playing the clarinet. She graduated from Madison Central High School. She then began working at Robertson Transportation, where she met and married her husband, Clifford. They moved to Minnesota together, only to have it cut short by the death of our beloved father, Clifford, in 1967. She did a fabulous job of becoming a mother and father to her adoring children. We were blessed to have such a dedicated, loving mother. Her passions later in life were her grandchildren, NASCAR racing, and Bruce Springsteen. She felt blessed to be able to work full-time for Medical Arts Press until the fall of 2005. We feel such a loss in our lives, but now our mother lives on in our souls. We feel comforted knowing we are eternally together. We love you, Mom. Memorial service Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 at 7 PM, with a visitation one hour prior at Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park. 763-560-3100

Eileen gave me not just one life, but actually two.I entered into her life on May 12th 1951. My childhood was happy and I was well cared for. We didn’t have a lot of money but with caring parents that doesn’t matter.
Everything was swell until when I was 23 I found myself at the University of Minnesota Hospital interviewing for a place in one of their Psychiatric Wards. Unfortunately I passed. For a 2 weeks of observation.

Unlike the other patients in the Ward I had a visitor...

Remember, flying kites and picnics with your mom near the river? Remember hanging with your mom after school, smoking Tareytons and visiting? Remember the egg cartons your mom saved to add to the acoustics in your basement for Al's band? Oh my God, I could on and on! I have sooo many memories of your mom and those great days with you Rick. Your mom was an angel. I always loved her greatly. I am sorry for your losses. Sue Headley keeps me informed. You all remain in my heart, Sue

My prayers are with all of you. I am so glad I got to "see" Eileen before or after or during her new journey! She was strong, gentle, and regal. She was also one of the nicest I have ever known. I will miss her!

To all of you: Ricky and Allen, how I wish I had known of your Mom's illness. She was one of the most wonderful women I knew and always cared about her 'tho I hadn't seen her in many years. She was always kept dear in my heart. Sherri, I remember you as a little girl and how your mother doted on you. She loved you to a fault. I know Paul wishes he'd been able to spend more time with her and loved meeting her up at Perkins. She'll be greatly missed.

Just me Mom, I know your with me as yesterday when I was doing all my errands the two songs that you dedicated to me, the one when I was 7 and the other was just a few years ago, I heard them both and I believe it was a sign from you. I love you and miss you terribly already. But I love you so deeply it was time to let you go because you weren't living the life you wanted. I know your the most beautiful angel shining bright surronded by all your loved ones that were waiting for you. I'll...

Allen, Sherri and Rick
I want you three to know how proud of you we are. You three have held together through the time that mom needed you the most and let her know it was okay to go. Your strength throughout this process was amazing. I know she is very proud of each and every one of you not only for that time but for all of your accomplishments through her life. She is truly a wonderful mother. She raised three beautiful children, which I am very honored that I have that opportunity...

Sherri, Gene, Alec & Shaina -
We regret to have never met your monther Sherri, as I've said a hundred times over the last few months - she must have been an amazing woman to have raised such a giving, loving and devoted daughter. You are truly an inspiration to us. You've handled your mom's illness with such dignity and love - and I'm certain your mom is proudly smiling down on all of you. Now, her beautiful soul lives forever in your heart. God bless,
