December 29,1934 - July 9, 2021
Eileen M. Eagan (nee Magee), age 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen was born in East Landsdowne. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years for North American Brass and Aluminum Company in Philadelphia. Then Eileen moved on to Shared Medical Systems (Siemen’s) in Malvern from where she retired in 2004.
Eileen was devoted to her Catholic faith. To her, family was everything. She always said being a mom and grandmother was her greatest blessing and joy. She was an excellent cook and no one could challenge her Thanksgiving dinners, especially her "stuffing". Eileen loved animals. She always had one or two dogs and she loved and spoiled them so much. She also enjoyed doing cross stitch, crossword puzzles, reading, and watching TV.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1995 and her son, Bryan, in 1992. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Valentino of West Chester, PA; Susan (Jack) Stehle, of Hockessin DE; Theresa (John ) Hoffman of Chester Springs, PA; and Eileen (Patrick) Larr of Morrisville, PA; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason, Kevin and Alex Valentino; Michael, Shannon, and Christopher Stehle; John, Christina, and Scott Hoffman; Kelly, Caitlyn and Edward Larr; and great grandson Lucas Valentino
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 15th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:30 -11:00 am. Burial at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery will follow the mass.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Eileen's memory to the Mary Campbell Center/ Children and Youth Program

Eileen was a wonderful person. She was my Mom’s first cousin and I have so many memories of Eileen and her family in my life! She had such a fun laugh and laughed often. My heartfelt condolences and gratitude to Eileen’s family for sharing her with us for all these years. Godspeed Eileen. You’re home now.
