How can I tell you about 50 plus years?
Your Mom was my best friend we were young together -we matured together and we grew old together. We lived 3,000 miles apart physically but were 2 feet from each other emotionally. Dear Christina,
When you moved to Colts Neck we became more than "friends"...we became an extended family. Eileen was everyone's mom! She took me under her wing and kept me calm with her constant voice of reason. She became a "mom", when I needed one most. I looked forward to her long emails (as if she was talking to me in person!). She was kind, sweet, and funny.
I can only imagine how empty your home and your hearts feel. But take comfort in knowing that her larger-than-life...
