Not sure what to say?

When Rodney went to be with the Lord in January of 2021, someone told one of our daughters "this will be a year of firsts for you" and it was. We had all the special days of the first year without Rodney, and now the Griffith family has finished their "year of firsts". I am certain their precious family has come through their first year with faith, love and happy memories, but the Christmas season will still be a sad time for them because she went to be with the Lord right before Christmas....

A wonderful lady that did so much for manatee county and a friend to all.

Rodney knew Mr. and Mrs. Griffith much longer and better than I, but I always enjoyed being with them at the luncheons at the Manatee Fair Grounds for the presentation of the Distinguished Citizen award. They were truly precious together and it was a joy to be around them. Greeting visitors or bidding them farewell at funeral services I have attended at Griffith Cline, Eileen Griffith was the personification of hospitality and kindness. I pray that God will give all the family that peace...

Eileen changed my life by one phone call that she made to Williams Parker's senior partner, William T. Harrison, Jr. (she called him "Uncle Billy) in August of 1978. That phone call resulted in an interview, that interview resulted in an offer by the firm to become a law clerk with them, and that law clerkship resulted in my becoming a partner of the firm and enjoying a wonderful career with Williams Parker that has continued for over 44 years. Eileen never encountered a challenge she...

Mrs. Griffith has been a neighbor of ours since 1965. Always a friendly hello and smile each and every time we met. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers and heart felt condolences to her family.

How Manatee County folks loved this beautiful and gracious lady. To Jan, Ken and Jim my condolences- what a wonderful legacy of love, kindness, and service she has left.

My sympathies extended to Ken/Katherine and all of this fine family. A gracious, kind, and giving lady. Her energy and support to Manatee County will be missed. I feel very privileged to know her and considered a friend.
