Not sure what to say?

In fond memory of an aunt who was very generous, bright, and hospitable.

Eileen reminded me of my father in a number of ways: her keen mind, her sense of justice, her sense of humor, her love of animals, her confidence, fidelity, resourcefulness, and self-reliance. She had character. I admired her art work depicting beautiful places she had visited. I admired her as a person and will always remember her fondly.

Eileen,

I'll always remember you as the grande dame of Calle Oro Verde. Thank you for being such a cordial neighbor, for making Holley and me feel welcome, for hosting the road committee meetings for so many years, and for setting an example in character for us younger folks to follow. Your passing is an end-of-an-era type event for those of us on Calle Oro Verde who knew you.

I loved Eileen's indomitable spirit. Who else in their 90's would have trees planted that take years to mature. When faced with an ailment, she'd look to find the reason behind it to fix, not just accept it and take a pill. She will forever be an inspiration to me.

The correct address for the Memorial for Eileen Hale is 11302 Calle Oro Verde, Valley Center - Saturday, April 14th

Eileen Hale was my friend and such a special person in my life. I only knew her for a little over 9 years but in that time she and I had a very special bond. I always called her my pioneer and that is exactly what she was. I am going to miss (and already do) my friend and all her wisdom and insight that she added so richly to my life. I am blessed to have known her and call her my friend. - Shelly McIntyre
