Eileen Allison McGuire

Eileen Allison McGuire, 80, of Patterson passed away December 26 after a long battle with illnesses.

Eileen was a resident of Patterson for 38 years, with 20 of those years as a preschool teacher in the community. She loved all the children she got to care for and was so happy to meet them again in town when they were older. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Crows Landing Ward. Eileen was non-judgmental and sought out the good in everyone. She helped anyone in need she could find and loved to visit over a good meal. She loved animals and had a big heart. 

Eileen is survived by her children: Rebecca Lynn Tillery (Jeff) of Watsonville, Ronald Lloyd McGuire (Carrie) of Weimer, Roxanna Lee Weir (Harold) of Lindon UT, Richard Lance McGuire (Tiffany) of Lincoln, Rachel Louis McGuire, Rachelle Lea Lopez (Eusebio Jr) of Patterson, Robyn Lynette McGuire Moilanen (Kalle) of Patterson, and her sister, Lorna Shephard of Arkansas; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by many including her husband of 46 years, Robert McGuire; mother, Gertrude Elizabeth Whitehead; stepfather, Lloyd Amason; siblings Joan Kriebell Hall, Linda McGrath, Edward Marshall, and Robert Marshall.
