I was just telling my wife about my memories of Mrs. Sharp and decided to google her name. I´m so sorry to hear of her death. She was a good friend to my mother and always kind to me. I´m so happy to hear that she lived such a full life and was beloved by so many. Condolences to her family.

My Head Start children loved Eileen. She attracted children and they often confided to her. Our conversations were always full of anecdotal things children would say and laughter. She was a strong, practical, bred in Vermont woman. I will truly miss her.

Our family will miss dear Mrs. Sharp. Kind, friendly, funny, caring. A role model for all of us. A loss for us all - but glad we had her with us.

Eileen was a ray of sunshine who always had the best attitude. She was a true joy to know and JRES wont be the same without her. We miss her dearly already.

Eileen Sharp was a generous, kind, open-hearted woman who kept all the children in our whole neighborhood safe and looked after, from her house on the hill! She helped raise me. I loved going sledding and playing at her house with her girls. I remember all the hula hooping and chicken and stars soup, and listening to folk Rock like it was yesterday. All of you are in my prayers, I hope your fond memories will ease the pain of loss. Hugs to all

Eileen was such a stabilizing presence at Jackson Road Elementary School. She knew all of the kids and kept staff informed about past students. She was just a lovely person whom I've thought of often.

Eileen subbed for me for 20 years. She loved the children and the children loved her. Heaven gained an angel.
