I remember how she used to be so welcoming to the kids on the block. Her Penticton Street home was a special spot. I remember how she hid Easter eggs for Christine and Lynn and did it so well that they occasionally found one months afterward. She was a courageous single parent when such things were a rarity.

Dear Lynn, So sorry to hear of you losing your beloved Mom. I too lost my Mom to Alzheimers in 2007, so totally understand what you've been through.
Remembering our high school friendship fondly and the few times we've run into each other downtown in the years since.
