Not sure what to say?

Just today I learned of Mrs. Smith's passing from her son, C. Gregory Smith, a friend and colleague of mine. While I never knew Mrs. Smith, I did know that Greg felt quite close to both his parents and, now that she too has gone, he will miss her deeply. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Although I didn’t know Mrs. Smith extremely well, when I heard of her passing, I felt compelled to share this story. Many years ago, while I was a student in Concord Middle School, I was given an assignment to identify a person of interest in our town, conduct an interview, and write a report. May God bless your family. Your mother was a pioneer in many ways -and lived a great example for her family. Even though each child received a great education (as evidenced in the obit), the best use of an education is in HOW you use it....she really lived a FULL life. She was a great woman. May God give you peace and bless your family. Debra Owen

I was a student at Shady Spring High School, Beaver, West Virginia, when Mrs. Smith was there - over 50 years ago. I loved her dearly. She made learning (and actually, life in general) a wonderful and loving experience. She was indeed a woman to be envied. She shared her happiness with everyone around her. Praise God for having known this wonderful woman! She taught me much more than English.

I am very sorry for your loss.

I have fond memories of Eileen and the entire Smith family. Eileen was a very distinguished, caring woman, wife and mother.
My thoughts are with you at this time.
