Not sure what to say?

Jim,
I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was very sorry to hear of Mrs. Stokes passing. I always enjoyed seeing her and Mr. Stokes at St. John's during Easter or Christmas holidays. She was always so warm and welcoming, asking how I and my family were doing. I also remember her cheering at BB & N soccer games when Erin and I played on the same team. My thoughts and prayers go to Mr. Stokes, her children and grandchildren, I know she will be missed.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of Erin's mom. I was a Wellesley and BB&N classmate of Erin's and always enjoyed visits with her parents. Mrs. Stokes was so welcoming, and I will always remember her as a kind, beautiful person with a great sense of humor, and a spirit that was at once calm and intense, if that is even possible. I also connected with her on how she loved and engaged with her dog at the time, whose name escapes me. Tucker, maybe? Anyway, I am sorry for the family's...

I never met Eileen. Jim and I were Marine lieutenant classmates at The Basic School in Quantico Virginia. I've not seen Jim since 1966. We were, however, bound by our Marine Brotherhood, the strongest bond there is.

Our war in Vietnam was both in the air--Jim, and me on the ground.

Jim deserved the wonderful life-companion which her obituary so aptly described.

My thoughts are with you, Buddy.

I was so sad to read this obituary today. I worked with Eileen at CHS. She was a dedicated and devoted educator. She, too, took such pride in her beloved family. Please, accept my condolences.....
