Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry to have only just found this 3 years after the fact. Eileen was my favorite teacher at SJA. She was always very supportive, encouraging my writing, and pointing me toward opportunities. I wish I had done a better job of keeping in touch. I credit her with inspiring me to focus on my writing and creative skills, which have granted me a wonderful career. I still think of her...what a great lady she was. My condolences to her family and friends.

I am so sorry to learn of Ms Teare's passing. was looking through my old report cards from Collinwood when i was in her English class, 1967. She had all she could handle in room filled with the many unruly students who perhaps sensed her kindness. We were reading Great Expectations and I could not get into Pip. Who was Pip? Finally Pip went away and she took us into Kon Tiki! I admired her dedication to keeping the class interested and not be overwhelmed. God bless Ms,Teare!!! A fine...

I always looked forward to Poetry class with Miss Teare. She always encouraged me and even though I only had her for once class, I will always remember her with fondness.

My condolences to Miss Teare's family. I always looked forward to her English class at St. Joseph Academy. She was very kind, knowledgeable and supportive.

RIP Ms. Teare you were a tough and fair at the same time. I appreciate the literature you introduced me to in class, and I have found myself returning to some of the books I read in your class. You made class interesting, I only wish I had the gift of teaching that you had. You will be missed

My condolences to Miss Teare's family. She was my English teacher at St. Joseph Academy. She was very kind, knowledgeable and supportive.

I will remember Miss Teare fondly, as she was a wonderful teacher, one of my SJA faves. She had a quiet style yet made a big impact...she cared about her students. May she Rest In Peace. SJA '77

I think that it's fair to say that Ms. Teare was an educator who used her powers for good in molding the lives and futures of countless young women. She was patient, kind, encouraging, and never judgemental, never mean. She had a critical eye, but was never critical of us personally. She saw inner talent and worked to nurture that in every one of us. She was an example to many of us in terms of how to be a good person. I was so fortunate to have known her at SJA.

I readily tell anyone that Miss Teare was one of the finest teachers I had at SJA. I attribute my success in college to her and how she taught me to analyze text and write papers. She was one of the greats in education.
