Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Toth family.Classmate of 64. Donald Moe West

My parents and I shared many times together thru the years at their home. I remember them well. I graduated withEileen from Phillipsburg High School in 1964. She was at the head of our class and I was somewhere below the middle. My condolences to Tommy and Dick.

Eileen was such a pleasure to know, so bright and articulate. During the twenty years I worked at Allenmore Hospital, the most memorable lunch breaks were shared with Eileen at the table. No topic was off limits. Her sharp wit and brilliant mind made the conversations so much fun. My life was enriched by having known her.

To Tom, Dick and their families and Eileen's family, our deepest condolances.

I had the priviledge of filling in for her nurse who was on maternity leave in the early 1980s."Dr. Toth" was such a pleasure to be with.I remember her enjoying teaching new procedures etc. to me and I was sad when her nurse returned and my time with her ended. She loved being a mom, wife and doctor. What a blessing she was to all who had the opportunity to meet her.

My husband and I were some of Dr. Toths first patients in Tacoma. She was a wonderful doctor, caring and down-to-earth. We were devastated when she was forced to retire and have followed her family trials through the years. Such a great loss to her family, friends and the community.

I was so privileged to be her patient. She was special. Very very bright but with the ability to communicate the most technical medical information in terms I could understand. She was a compassionate, caring and committed physician and a terrific human being. She embodied all the best qualities of a caregiver. Rest well Dr Toth.

As a PHS '64 classmate of Eileen's, I remember very fondly! Her many accomplishments as a physician and parent are to be lauded. She was a gift to the many who knew and loved her. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.

I have known Eileen since she first came to Tacoma as a general internist about thirty years ago. I grew to respect her competency and her caring approach to many patients we shared over many years. The entire community will surely miss her. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.
