Read MoreI was reading the Observer and saw that Elaine had died. I am so sorry to hear this. She was the theory instuctor at RVC and I was the clinical instructor for her class. We talked a lot about our class. After retiring we would go to lunch to get caught up. I will miss her.

Our Franciscan religious community based in Milwaukee will always remember Elaine for her untiring, grace - filled nursing skills and care to our retired Sisters at Maria Linden here in Rockford. We worked together for over 15 years. I appreciate Elaine for her openness, her nursing skills and her compassion. Not to mention her humor which always had great timing.
