Not sure what to say?

My dad and Elaine came to visit our home in Maryland early November 2013. During the visit we went to see her college roommate, took in a live performance of `Guys and Dolls", visited Fort McHenry in Baltimore, and toured the waterfront area. Before leaving, grandma wanted to have an impromptu Thanksgiving meal together, so we made a trip to a grocery store to grab a few items. We purposefully took her to a two story Wegman´s that had a shopping cart escalator, which we thought was novel. ...

Elaine and Laurie at Manito Park, Spring 2016

Dear Grandma Elaine,
I unknowingly gave you your last hug a year and four months ago. You were deliriously happy to have company and play with my daughter. With Drew’s help we “broke you out” of Seminole Shores for a few hours to soak in the beauty of Lake Michigan and splurge on ice-cream. He joked about her carrying an Irish shillelagh while handing her a shamrock necklace, and as she...

Loving Light Dishgarden

She was a faithful visitor and a strong example of God's grace. She opened her home to others as well. I tried to protect her when she wanted to share her home with a person I was sending home. I said Mrs. Brevick I never send someone home without them...

Elaine touched my heart as a child and still does today. Praying that Heavenly Father’s Spirit will be with you as you grieve. I send you prayers of healing and comfort during this time of loss.
